About me

sabinembf

I am curious about everything, in particular, how digital technologies change the way we live, communicate, and collaborate. My purpose is to design the digital future while putting human needs in the center of my work.

UX Design

After studying international information management and working in usability research, I started my career as digital concept developer at BlueMars (now Shift) before I joined SapientNitro in Munich as senior information architect. I was leading UX teams during ideation and concept development phases up to the detailed wireframing of different digital solutions, such as mobile website, TV interfaces, e-commerce platforms, etc.. in collaboration with account teams, visual designers, and developers to design new ideas, strategies and roadmaps for my clients. Remarkable projects for me were the concept design of a mobile TV app for Swisscom together with the internal UID team; the launch of an internal community platform for Siemens Healthcare; and the complete relaunch of the corporate website of a media company as responsive website.

Digital Transformation

Until July 2017 I worked as research associate at the chair of Prof. Dr. Andrea Back at the institute of information management at the University of St.Gallen and pursued my PhD in business innovation. The topic of my dissertation is “The fuzzy front-end of digital transformation”. I was co-organizing the yearly Mobile Business Forum in St.Gallen and I have been leading the Digital Maturity & Transformation Study since 2014. Moreover, I served a jury member for the Digital Transformation Award of Best of Swiss Web.

Since September 2018 I work at Siemens Corporate Technology as User Experience Consultant.
