It was a pleasure to be invited as a speaker to Allianz’s exclusive internal UX Community of Practice event. Siemens and Allianz operate in very different industries, yet they share an exciting and challenging landscape for UX designers to work on:
💡 Designing and communicating complex digital offerings and services
🚀 Pioneering UX in a large organization that has been in the market for a long time
🪴 Scaling UX processes in an environment of constant transformation.

This is the official summary, but I also asked ChatGPT what funny things Siemens and Allianz have in common with regards to user experience:
- Both love to confuse their users with complicated technical terminology
- Both build complex products that require experts to understand them
- Both love the same colors (white, blue), so maybe they share the same designer.
I’m not aware that we share the same designer, but I truly enjoyed the opportunity to share insights from our journey at Siemens and exchange ideas with fellow UX enthusiasts.
