Monday inspiration: Habits of original thinkers (Ted Talk)

My daily brainfood for today is Adam Grant’s  Ted talk: The surprising habits of original thinkers:

  1. The first mover advantage is a myth. You don’t have to be first to innovate. You just have to be different and better.
  2. My mantra “I will not doubt, nor will I fear” could be one of an original thinker. Original thinkers have lot’s of doubts and fears, however, you should focus on “idea doubt”, not “self doubt”.
  3. Doubt the default and look for better options. Don’t let go of the doubt but look for “vuja de” – seeing something well-known in fresh light.

Happy Monday!
